However, on a year-on-year basis, the intended remunerations grew 22.9%, well below the price variation accumulated in the same period, which reached 33.1%. The data comes from the portal’s latest Labor Market Index Boomerang.
The February rebound in wages requested by job seekers implied a trend change, after two months of decline in salary expectations, of 1.87% in January and 3.71% in December.

- Semi senior and senior: the requested remuneration reached $1,751,637;
- Junior: the required salary was $1,307,752.

Sectors with the highest and lowest intended wages

Men ask for a higher salary than women
There is a difference between what they ask for men and women for the same job. The Bumeran report highlighted that the value claimed by the men in search of work he came to $1,797,320 monthly, while the requested by the women is from $1,658,950 per month.

However, the difference varies depending on the level of experience. In junior positions, the gap is 5.4%at the semi-senior and senior levels of 6.07%while in positions of supervisor or boss positions expands to almost 20%.
