Moria Casán, pure celebration, with a series and a musical: what will the two productions that celebrate her 80 years be like?

The universe of Moria Casán will have a double celebration this year. On the one hand, It will arrive on Netflix on August 14 Moriathe series inspired by the diva’s life. The first trailer for the series published this Friday, April 10, already made it clear that it will not be a conventional biopic. There are dressing rooms, catwalks, stages, photos with flashes, shiny dresses and an aesthetic full of glamour, feathers and excess. Everything that defined Moria appears condensed in images that jump from one era to another.

The story will cover three different stages of Moria’s life, each one played by a different actress. In addition to Sofía Gala, Griselda Siciliani and Cecilia Roth They will put themselves in the shoes of the diva to show her different facets, from the first steps to the consecration of a woman who transformed her own life into a spectacle.

While the series prepares for August, April will bring another bet inspired by “the One.” It is about Moria, the mysterya musical theater proposal devised by Valeria Ambrosio that navigate the universe of the diva from a completely different place.

The work imagines a post-apocalyptic future in the year 2655. In that devastated Buenos Aires, a group of archaeologists from the Ministry of Culture finds a mysterious sarcophagus.

From there, they try to discover who that figure from the past was. The records they find say that she was a vedette, composer, political candidate, prisoner and national icon.

With the help of 21st century artificial intelligence and an oracle that channels the afterlife, Archaeologists try to reconstruct Moria. But The more they investigate, the more difficult it is to define it.
