Peronism will not have many points of agreement, but they do agree with a diagnosis: the government is going through its worst moment. Corruption scandals and the deterioration of purchasing power create a scenario that excites those who want to start building weapons. Miguel Pichetto went from meeting with Cristina Fernández in her place of detention to meeting with former Buenos Aires libertarians. Moreno’s mayor, Mariel Fernández, managed to bring together the Camporismo and Axelista leaders in the same event. Eduardo de Pedro went to visit Ricardo Quintela from Rioja; Sergio Massa activated his offices in Libertador and Axel Kicillof launched his movement outside the Buenos Aires borders. Then we will have to see if all this agglomerate will have a common destiny.
Although they do not admit it openly, Pichetto left with one task from his meeting with CFK: to drive the ambulance in search of the injured and scattered. First he met with the leaders Guillermo Moreno and Esteban Castro. Then he went to La Plata to visit Carlos Kikuchi, Sergio Vargas, Paola Ventura and Silvina Vaccarezza, who reached the libertarian ballots thanks to the hidden strategy of Peronism in the middle of the campaign in 2023. “Within the framework of a tour of municipalities in the province of Buenos Aires and the country, and with the idea of advancing in the construction of a broad national front, Miguel Ángel Pichetto and Emilio Monzó met with leaders libertarians far from the Casa Rosada and agreed on the need to build a capitalist, modern and productive proposal,” they said close to the Rio Negro deputy.

This week he plans to meet with Leonardo Nardini, mayor of Malvinas Argentinas. He also received a call from leaders of the CGT leadership with whom there will also be a meeting soon.
Some leaders hope that Pichetto can put together a Peronist bloc from the outside, but in coordination with Unión por la Patria. Something similar to what happened in the Senate, as a way to bring together deputies who respond to Peronist governors and who for now appear rebellious.
These appearances coincide with Javier Milei’s confrontation with the owners of economic groups that, although they can play at financial valuation, saw their businesses affected by Chinese imports and the non-awarding of state purchases.
Meanwhile, Moreno’s mayor, Fernández, presented her political space Reconquista this week, in a location in front of Congress. “She is a leader who has been standing out,” those who see her as the best option to replace Kicillof in the governorship highlight at her side. The mayor who comes from the Evita Movement transformed one of the poorest and most insecure districts in the province into a party in which two industrial parks and one of the most important ecological reserves in the province have already been built.
At the event, the provincial deputy and leader of Quilmes, Mayra Mendoza, her political organization partner and national senator, Mariano Recalde, sang the Peronist march, along with the mayor of Lomas de Zamora Federico Otermín – who also has aspirations of becoming governor -, the Buenos Aires government minister and owner of the Right to the Future movement, Carlos Bianco, and the former Secretary of Commerce Guillermo Moreno.

Axelismo did something similar this week when launching its space in CABA. In the historic Picadero theater Kicillof and his Minister of Production, Augusto Costa, were together with the Buenos Aires reference of the space, Berenice Iañez, close to the Minister of Community Development, Andrés Larroque. Organizations such as Kilómetro Cero, La Patria es el Otro, Patria y Futuro, Somos Barrios de Pie, 20 de Noviembre and Militancia Popular attended. Berenice Iañez, current Buenos Aires legislator, is the institutional representation of axelism in the Buenos Aires Legislature, has territorial work, and is committed to being key in the construction and political assembly of the MDF in the City.
This week, Camporista senator De Pedro also met with Riojan governor Ricardo Quintela in his province. “The governor has been putting up a firm fight in defense of his people, demanding the resources that correspond to the province and supporting policies to take care of employment and production, and we are going to accompany that path, because defending the provinces is defending that productive and federal Argentina that we want to build,” said De Pedro. The gesture is not minor since Cristina had faced a strong confrontation when the Riojan had dared to dispute the presidency of the national PJ with which Cristina won.

Meanwhile, meetings were activated in the offices of the Frente Renovador. In the massismo they report that many mayors of the province of Buenos Aires meet with the former presidential candidate who, in the same way, only prefers his partner in the organization and communal leader of San Fernando, Juan Andreotti, as an eventual candidate for governor.
Encounters, but especially reunions, flourish on all sides within the movement. However, this Saturday before the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the coup of March 24, 1976, Máximo Kirchner and De Pedro came out to draw a clear boundary. “With the torturers of the fathers and mothers of our colleagues, not even with beatings,” said Kirchner. “I don’t feel comfortable with a person who defends the dictatorship and the murderers,” said De Pedro. It was a way to ruin the Morenista adventure that had fantasized about coming to power through Vice President Victoria Villarruel.
